Makes delicious coffee very quickly. We wouldn't want another coffee maker. Very convenient when we have friends over and want to keep the fresh coffee coming.
It works very well in the trash can. The plastic fixture retaining the coffee basket is also cracked in many places from what appears to be heat damage to the plastic. Fool me once. Watch out for this product. Made a total of nine pots when the coffee maker started tripping the circuit breaker. Never another Bunn especially when this pot was purchased to replace a recalled Bunn.
Still, this is an excellent product. The only complaints that I have is that the pot is too small, and there is no automatic turn off after two hours. The hot plate keeps the coffee hot without "overcooking" it. I would feel more comfortable if the pot turned itself off. Delivery and condition were timely and perfect. The product itself is fast (3-minute brewing time), easy to use, and produces excellent brewed coffee. When both my husband and I drink morning coffee, we run out.
No problem with shipping or new product. Received quickly - have had one of these in the past (replaced one that was 4 years old) - like this brand because it brews a pot of coffee in 3 minutes.
If you drink the same coffee all the time, the Bunn will consistently make it the same every time, providing you measure coffee and good water consistently. Mine is on 24/7/365 x years and evaporation is not evident because it does not happen. Would you fault your vehicle for the roughness of a gravel road full of pot holes. In fact, the Bunn NHB is an ally when using different coffees, roasts, and grinds because IT is consistent. If you don't want your Bunn NHB, send it to me.BOTTOM LINE: BUY THE BUNN
Again, bull. No under or over extraction, no spitting or sputtering, no dials or sensors. Like any device, things can occur: seals can wear, lime-scale can build up. There aren't any. I have used it for years.since it came on market and it does exactly what Bunn claims.3 minute coffee without fuss. No kidding. One reviewer blames the Bunn for "idiosyncratic features". It's that reviewer's choices of coffee that require a bit of coffee-to-water "tinkering", not the Bunn. And mine has never leaked or dripped without a cause.
Bunn will be happy to help.I enjoy drinking different coffees, but I want my coffeemaker to be consistent. I have consumed gallons of ill-made coffee for more than 50 years; until I got the Bunn NHB. BULL. EVAPORATION.
